Veterinary Council Matters
VAN and the Veterinary Council of Namibia are not the same institution. Veterinarians who wish to be registered to practice in Namibia, or students who would like to do their practicals with either private or state veterinarians, must contact the Council. State Vet Related Queries
Any queries regarding state veterinary affairs such as animal movement permits need to be dealt with by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform -Directorate of Veterinary Services.

- Ensuring that all VAN members adhere to the VAN Professional Code of Conduct meant to promote just and current practice
- Providing excellent service to members and striving to achieve high standards of management and governance.
